Why All Americans Can Support NRST

If you are

• a Liberal: finally the rich will have to pay their fair share (no loopholes) and the poor are protected from federal taxes, including corporate income taxes hidden in retail prices.

• a Moderate: finally we get rid of an insane income tax system that costs the economy a dead loss of over $28 in compliance costs for every $100 collected in taxes.

• a Conservative: finally drug dealers, illegal aliens, and tax cheats will have to pay their fair share whenever they make a retail purchase.

• a Democrat: a tax cut for those who need it most, and what could be fairer than contributing to government in exact proportion to what you get from society in consumption?

• a Republican: the same amount of revenue is raised, but a tax cut for honest taxpayers as loopholes are closed, cheating reduced, the tax base broadened, and imports pay their fair share. An even bigger tax cut after productivity and economic growth kicks into overdrive.

• a Libertarian: finally a system where the people can see the true cost of the federal government every time they buy.

• a Civil Libertarian: finally our Constitutional rights will be respected, the right to privacy shall not be infringed by an arbitrary, punitive and incompetent IRS. You are secure in your private papers, possessions, and personal effects. You cannot be assessed excessive fines or penalties.

• a Reform Party Ross Perot fan: finally the giant sucking sound you hear is investment, growth and jobs flowing into the United States of America. Taxes are fair for all, and paperless for most.

• an Independent: finally the special interests have a tough job to lobby for special favors, With the NRST they have to ask for undisguised pork-barrel cash, not just an obscure tax loophole.

• an Employer: you can put 100% of your effort into building your business, instead of hassling with tax forms and worrying about audits.

• a Worker: you will finally see all of your paycheck (less payroll taxes) to spend as you wish.

• a Consumer: you will see prices drop as companies take the corporate income tax (and the huge cost of complying with it) out of their prices.

• an Investor: you can save and invest 100% tax-free.

• a Fair Trade advocate: finally a level playing field for American workers and businesses. Imports have to contribute to the cost of our government, and exports no longer pay both U.S. income taxes AND foreign consumption taxes.

• a Taxpayer: never fill out an IRS tax form again! Even if you're a retail store owner you simply process the National Sales Tax along with the state sales tax; simple.

• a Tax Collector: a simple and sensible system to make collections easy, and cheating difficult.

• a Patriot: wouldn't you like to see our country have the most powerful economy on the planet?

• An American: because everybody wins with the NRST, and because this is the United States of America, and the will of the people should prevail.
